How to Get to Direct Messages On Instagram
To send your initial DM on Instagram, take a photo as you typically would. You could use just the same filters to "DM photos" as you could with all other Instagram blog posts. When you prepare to send it straight to somebody (or a group of people)-- faucet NEXT as usual.
From the Share to food selection towards the top of the display, faucet DIRECT (see # 1 in screenshot listed below). Now tap inside the Write a caption ... window, as well as kind out your message (see # 2 in screenshot below).
When you're done composing your message, tap OK.
Now scroll via your listing of Instagram contacts and touch the circle alongside their name to ensure that a green "check mark" appears. NOTE: you could choose more than one recipient if you intend to share a message or image with a group of people.
