How to Direct Message someone On Instagram
To send your initial DM on Instagram, take an image as you usually would. You can use all the same filters to "DM photos" as you can with all various other Instagram blog posts. When you prepare to send it straight to a person (or a team of individuals)-- tap NEXT customarily.
From the Share to food selection to the top of the screen, tap DIRECT (see # 1 in screenshot below). Currently tap inside the Write a caption ... window, and type out your message (see # 2 in screenshot below).
