How Do I Merge Facebook Pages
While you can't combine the posts, images or events from numerous groups, you can merge the members of multiple groups into one group, as long each member is on your friend's list. Then, you'll have to manually merge the material from the different groups into one.
How Do I Merge Facebook Pages
1. Indication in to Facebook and navigate to the group into which the other groups will be combined. Right-click the name of the very first group that you wish to merge and pick "Open in a New Tab" from the menu. Click the group's "About" tab to open a list of group members.
2. Include members from the list to the merged group by switching to the web browser tab for that group and entering their names in the "Include Pals to Group" text box.
As you begin typing, Facebook will display the names of pals you can include, when you see the member's name, choose it from the list. You (or another group administrator) need to be good friends with a member to include that user to the merged group.
3. Move files, occasions or photos to the merged group. To move a document, click the "Docs" tab, click "Edit Doc" under the file you wish to copy, then copy the text and paste it into a new file in your merged group.
To move an image, click the "Photos" tab, click the album and photo you desire to move, click "Options" under the image and choose "Download"; then change to the merged group and upload the picture. You'll have to go into any events by hand in the merged group.
4. Repeat the process for other groups you want to merge. To delete the old groups when you are done, eliminate every member, eliminating yourself last. Facebook immediately deletes groups without any members.
5. Make the person with the new Facebook account an administrator for the merged group by discovering that user in the member list and clicking "Make Admin" under his name.
