Facebook Delete All Messages

Over the previous month, 2 of my Facebook buddies have had their accounts hacked (that I understand of). In both of these cases, the hacker opted to go through the person's Facebook e-mails to read all of their messages and then utilize that information to message their pals-- presenting as them.

I was one of those people that each hacker messaged. It was a sobering experience to realize that somebody could possibly have access to all of your individual conversations that you've had with friends and family, going back for many years!

After this experience, I chose that I wanted to Facebook Delete All Messages so that if I was ever hacked, at least I might restrict what they would have access to. However I discovered that this wasn't as easy as you would believe as there is no global "Delete All" choice for Facebook messages and discussions. Rather, you need to click into each discussion, click the "Actions" button, and choose "Erase Discussion".

To do this for the numerous conversations that I have actually had on Facebook over the past a number of years would have been far too time-consuming. However, I did find a remarkable plug-in for the Chrome web browser called Facebook Delete All Messages that sufficed.
