Although there is no offered link in Facebook's interface to erase a group, the system instantly eliminates groups that have no members. For that reason, to delete a group, you first need to remove all its members then leave it.

If you leave the group without previously getting rid of all its members, the group will stay there and you will lose your admin status, so you will not be able to erase this group anymore. This is the method to delete it correctly:.
Go to the page of the group you want to erase and there, right below the big image at the top of the page, click the "Members" tab.
This will reveal you a list of all the individuals who are members of your group. In that list, one by one for all the members except you, click on the equipment icon near their photo and then, in the appearing menu, click the "Eliminate from Group" alternative. Each time you do this you have to confirm the action by clicking on the "Validate" button that will appear.
When you are the only member in the list, click on the gear icon at the ideal extreme of your photo and click the "Leave Group" alternative in the appearing menu. Facebook will reveal you a message informing you that, since you are the last member, leaving the group will likewise delete it. Simply click the "Delete Group" button to confirm the action.
