Although there is no readily available link in Facebook's interface to delete a group, the system instantly eliminates groups that have no members. Therefore, to erase a group, you first need to get rid of all its members and then leave it.

If you leave the group without previously eliminating all its members, the group will remain there and you will lose your admin status, so you will not have the ability to erase this group anymore. This is the way to delete it properly:.
Go to the page of the group you wish to delete and there, right below the big picture at the top of the page, click on the "Members" tab.
This will reveal you a list of all individuals who are members of your group. Because list, one by one for all the members other than you, click on the equipment icon near their image and after that, in the appearing menu, click the "Get rid of from Group" option. Each time you do this you have to confirm the action by clicking on the "Validate" button that will appear.
Once you are the only member in the list, click on the equipment icon at the right extreme of your photo and click the "Leave Group" choice in the appearing menu. Facebook will show you a message informing you that, because you are the last member, leaving the group will likewise erase it. Simply click on the "Erase Group" button to verify the action.
