- When you choose the Indication In with Facebook/Google option, the YouVersion server searches the database for a YouVersion account related to the e-mail address you use with Facebook or Google.
If it finds a YouVersion account
the system signs you into that account in the Bible App.
If it doesn't find a YouVersion account
- The system automatically creates a new YouVersion account for you and signs you into that account in the Bible App.
- If you would like to know the password for that account, you will have to utilize the 'forgot password' alternative to have a password reset email sent out to you.
KEEP IN MIND: Registering for a YouVersion Account with Facebook or Google:
- Permits you to skip the email verification process.
- Instantly signs you into that YouVersion account.
- Allows you to sign back INTO the Bible App with Facebook or Google if you ever sign out.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For Windows App, Windows Phone, Legacy Blackberry, the following applies.
You can not Sign In to your YouVersion account using your Facebook or Google qualifications.
- Joining Facebook or Google allows you to avoid the email verification process.
- You still produce a separate YouVersion account that you will utilize to sign in to the Bible App and the website.
- Your check in info for YouVersion can be various than your check in information for Facebook or Google.
